Description
Models equipped with 1.8- and 2.0-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engines (1781 cm³ and 1984 cm³) and 1.9-liter 4-cylinder diesel engines (1896 cm³). The manual does not cover the Tiptronic automatic transmission, 4-Motion four-wheel drive, V5, V6 and W8 engines or the 1.6-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine. The basic structure of the 1.6-liter gasoline engine is the same as in older Passats, and this engine is covered in the VW Passat 1996-2000 repair manual. (account no. S151).
The Alfamer manuals in Finnish have clear illustrated instructions for the various subsystems: disassembly, inspection, repair and installation. In addition, the manuals contain maintenance instructions, technical data and troubleshooting tables.
