Solifer - our moped

In 2008, it was 50 years since the first Solifer mopeds were made. The original Solifer mark was visible on the sides of new mopeds manufactured in Finland from 1958 to 1984. During that time, 175,000 Solifer mopeds were manufactured, of which 155,000 remained in use in Finland. Solifer was getting the Finnish people on wheels in the 1950s and 1960s.

Solifer - our moped book has two stories. The first tells about the early stages of the Solifer factory and its development into a major moped factory. It also tells about the birth of the Solifer brand and the design, manufacture and marketing of mopeds. The second part tells about the Solifer mopeds themselves, their structures and technical characteristics. It also presents all the models that entered the market in different years with identification information.
